Step 1
Place your Growing Solutions Compost Tea System in a sheltered location with a level surface and access to power and water.
Remove tank lid, compost basket tray and compost filter basket(s). Make sure that the drain valve is in the closed position and fill the tank with potable water to the fill mark.
Step 2
Plug in your Compost Tea System to begin aeration. Use only with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) outlet. If necessary, use a 12-14 gauge extension cord with a maximum length of 25 feet.
Step 3
Add the appropriate amount of Growing Solutions Compost Tea Catalyst to the water for your Compost Tea System. Find out how much Catalyst you need here.
Step 4
Place the appropriate amount of high-quality compost in the compost filter basket(s), loosely filled (do not pack down).

Step 5
Return compost filter basket tray back to the tank. Place filled compost filter basket(s) into compost filter basket tray.
Step 6
Replace the tank lid and begin the 24-hour Compost Tea production cycle.
Step 7
At the end of the 24-hour production cycle, continue to aerate the Compost Tea while dispensing it into a clean container for application. Learn more about application methods here.
Unplug your Compost Tea System when the tank is empty. Filtration may be required depending on method of application.
